We create opportunities by providing entrepreneurship courses and job placement in various fields, including contractor positions in housing trades.
About Us
Unity in the Community Non-profit, Inc. started in January 2019 with a focus on reducing poverty through Affordable Housing. We’ve partnered with over 1,200 real estate professionals across the United States to provide housing to Veterans and their families nationwide.
We started Unity Academy in 2022 to provide entrepreneurship training to displaced communities to help increase home buying opportunities for families. We have trained over 250 students in virtual assistance, computer software, and real estate. This has helped boost individual income for displaced communities.
In 2023 we launched our Transition Housing Program for Veterans and Families. This home provides veterans and families with stable housing and home-buyer services and support. Veterans and families receive free resources for credit restoration, financial literacy, and home loan support.
